Charlie Cadin is a young local shaper revolutionising surfboard shaping and its process. From upcycling old boards to making blanks from seaweed his creativity seems to have no limits.

I wanted theses photos to reflect shaping as an artform alongside showcasing the precision and skill needed to make a board that not only looks good but surfs beautifully.

The hands of a shaper are the hands of a true artist and Charlie is no exception.
